Cardinal's color, red as fire.
  I wonder if it's burned.
  How you inspire.
  Much I have learned.

  Gold, gold, I see gold.
  The shining flower.
  It dies when cold.
That what I call flower power.

  Horse, athlete, racing.
I can hear the crowd roar.
  Nervous and pacing.
He is hard to the core.

  Freshwater pearl,
  shining in the light.
  With your beautiful curl.
  What a beautiful sight.

  Climbing to the treetop,
  like a monkey.
  Will he ever stop?
  The squirrel is funky.

  In river and lake,
  green bass swims.
  Oh goodness sake!
  Not in the limbs!
