As you could probably tell from the home page,
I have an American Cocker Spaniel kennel, but
in my "spare" time, I also enjoy exercising my
art skills (I had a duel major at Western in both
Literature and Fine Art and have worked
professionally as a Graphic Designer.)  Here is
one of the stained glass windows I did over the
summer of 2005.  The summer of 2007 I read,
read, read!  And the summer of 2008, we
should spend moving into our new home which
is being built over the winter of 2007/08.
I currently hold a B.A. English Literature & Fine Art from Western
Kentucky University and have done Masters work in English as a Second
Language and English Literature at Western Kentucky University.  In
addition, I have done M.F.A. work in Fine Art at the University of West
Texas, and earned a Teaching Certification from Western Kentucky
University in English and Allied Language Arts.  I am currently pursuing a
Masters of Science in Integrating Technology in the Classroom from
Walden University and am an English & Allied Language Arts teacher at
Greenwood High School, in Bowling Green, KY.  In the past I managed an
oilfield corporation, created television commercials, was the manager of
a personnel company, and still hold a certification in legal assistance.  At
Greenwood High School, I have taught English I, English II, English III,
English IV, English III CP, English IV CP, Drama I, and Study Skills.  I am
also the Academic Team Future Problem Solvers Coach,  Literary Club
Sponsor at Greenwood, and beginning 2007 I will become the Yearbook
Advisor at Greenwood.
I have one son, MacBrennan, who is an orange belt in
Kung Fu, a catcher & third baseman on his baseball
team, and a 5th grader.  He has perfect attendance at
school and loves the Harry Potter series.  Mac is also
an actor and singer, and has been named the lead in
the 2007 touring musical:
Lincoln: A Man for All Times.

In addition to our dog kennel, we also have two ferrets
named Melody and Harmony, and three cats named
Mya, Katmandu (pictured below), and Huckleberry, and
a mini-dachshund named Henry James.
These are
the views
from our
porches.
We love
living in
the
country
because
of the
peace
and
serenity it
affords
us.
Here I am painting
a stylized mural of
the American Flag
on my son's
bedroom wall.  It
took about a week,
from start to finish,
but was a lot of
fun.  Pardon the
out of focus
pictures.
Below are my three nephews - Shepard (in the pool), Christopher
(the rock star), and Chandler (the mummy).  They are my younger
sister's sons - she is my only sibling - so my Dad got all grandsons.
Katmandu sees the
world his own way.
